FAQ

1. How big are you pies?

Our small pies are 10 inches, cut into 6 slices, and serve 1 to 2 people. Our large pies are 14 inches, cut into 8 slices, and serve 3 to 4 people. Our lighter gluten-free cauliflower crusts are 10 inches and are perfect for one person.

2. Do you have any tables?

While our Long Beach and Hollywood locations offer a full dine-in experience, our Pasadena spot is designed for quick and easy pickup or delivery. For those who want to enjoy their meal right away, we have two small communal patio tables located behind the building.

3. Where to park?

Parking is easy! We've reserved spaces just for you in the Rite Aid parking lot next door. Just keep an eye out for the signs that say "Reserved for Allied Food To Go customers."

4. Can you do half-and-half on a pie?

While we're happy to split toppings on a pizza with a single sauce, we can't do half-and-half on orders with two or more different sauces. This is because some of our sauces just don't mix well, and we want to make sure every pizza we make for you is as delicious as possible.

5. Are your vegetarian and vegan options prepared separately from meat products?

We take great care to prepare non-meat items separately. We even use a dedicated pizza cutter for our vegan and vegetarian pies to prevent cross-contamination. However, because our kitchen handles both meat and non-meat products, we want to let you know that cross-contamination may still occur.

Our classic pizza crust and sauces are vegan-friendly. Please note that while our cauliflower crust is gluten-free, it contains eggs and milk, so it's not a vegan option.

6. How spicy are your pies?

Our classic curry sauce has a mild, savory heat, making it friendly for all tastes. If you want to kick things up, you can add jalapeños, red chili flakes, or minced thai chili to your pie to increase the spice level.

7. Is your food the same as the Long Beach location?

That's a great question! While our core passion for great food and fresh ingredients is the same at every location, each has its own unique character.

Long Beach is our classic flagship, serving all the beloved recipes and traditional Thai dishes that started it all.

North Hollywood carries on that tradition and also features popular specialty noodle soups.

Pasadena is our new location where we've had the chance to focus on an elevated, more innovative menu. Here, we've taken our commitment to high-quality ingredients a step further. We still use the same beloved dough recipe and signature sauces, but we've upgraded our ingredients to deliver an even better experience.

At our Pasadena location, you'll find:

  • An elevated dough. While all of our locations use unbromated and unbleached flour, our Pasadena kitchen uses a premium, custom blend with spelt. This gives our dough a softer texture and a distinctive nutty flavor.

  • A commitment to better ingredients. We use premium Wisconsin whole milk mozzarella for a richer, more buttery cheese, and all of our delicious sausage and specially spiced chicken are made fresh in-house.

  • Unique, in-house specialties. Try our exclusive Crying Tiger pizza and Zabb Chicken Wings, as well as a delicious cauliflower crust and a full vegan menu.

No matter which location you visit, you'll taste our dedication to making great food.

8. Why are gelatos and sorbets generally more expensive than ice cream?

We take pride in offering our gelato at the same fair retail price as Kanomwaan Thai Gelato and Dessert Cafe in Thai Town and Uli's Gelato retailers. However, as a general rule, gelato and sorbet are more expensive than traditional ice cream because they are denser and made with more high-quality, natural ingredients. Unlike ice cream, which can contain up to 90% air from rapid churning, gelato is churned slowly, resulting in a rich, dense, and flavorful scoop that's heavier and often lower in calories than a typical ice cream scoop. Sorbet, on the other hand, gets its vibrant taste and texture from a high concentration of real fruit, which is more costly than artificial flavorings. In short, with gelato and sorbet, you're investing in a more intense and healthier-tasting treat.
